Musher's corner
This section is for the beguinners specially. We have found lots of people who know nothing about mushing and tell us things like: "Oh, but, does the mushing exist in Spain?",or "And you say you harness just one dog to the bike?".
The first thing you have to know is that you can start to practice mushing with a dog and a bike, so you don't need snow.. In fact, here in Spain we have a lot of land races; this surface is the most common training way. Other important thing to know is the number of dogs that we should use when we start to practice mushing: Is better a small number , so in my oppinion we can run pulka firstable, or a 3-4 dog kart ; To use a big number of dog for a beguinner is difficult, both land and snow
But always remember these advices:
Never play mushing over 15-16 º C
Always play mushing with a X back harness, nevertheless with collar
Train your dogs progressively (distance and intensity)
Contact your nearest mushing association and they will help you

How to build your own three-wheels kart
En estas líneas, podemos ver a grandes rasgos una breve explicación de como construir nosotros mismos un triciclo para ser utilizado con nuestros perros. El triciclo está pensado para un número medio de perros, es decir, entre cuatro y seis.
MATERIAL

Two steel mountain bike frames: (same size and geometry)
Two back wheels a a front wheel
Handlebar, Brakes, Steel bars, alluminium sheet

TOOLS:

WELDING EQUIPMENT and ELECTRODES FOR STEEL
HANDSAW
LIMESTONE for iron
POWERDRILL
PAINT EQUIPMENT
RIVETING MACHINE and rivets

1- We start cutting the frames on the black marks and reserve the back triangles.Them lime  the cut to clean it and weld

2- We will use one of the from parts we have already cut, cutting again where the picture shows. It will be the pipe for the handlebars. Lime again

3- Now, insert a metalic bar on the two back triangle holes (the propeller shaft hole)and weld it: The diameter of the bar and the hole have to be more or less the same. The distance between the two triangles , enough for running between the wheels; The more distance you get, the more stability
Caution: Check the perfect parallelism between the triangles before welding

4- Now cut four bars:Two for the upper side and two for the lower side as follow in the picture and weld the handlebar pipe .This is the critical point:Be careful with the distance and geometry

5- The frame is almost done.We just need weld the bracket for the feets, make the holes for the rivets and rivet a sheet

6- Clompete the frame like a bike. The final result must be something like this:

THE NORDIC PROYECT

This is a cleverer idea from Rubén Flores, an A.E.M.(Spanish Mushers Association) member, to provide a new owner for hundreds and hundreds of eskimo dogs, specially siberian huskies, alaska malamutes and others who are left to their own devices on the roads or dark dog pounds because the owners are tired of them. All we know that this kind of dogs are not for people who haven't much personality or provide the dogs just a little exercice, cause they are obstinated, nervous, and given to running away dogs. That's why they are the most left group of dog breeds. So our advice for all those people who are thinking about getting a pretty blue eyed husky puppy or another is:
IF YOU CAN'T LIVE IN HARMONY WITH A DOG PROVIDING WHAT IT NEEDS, BUY A FLOWER VASE, NOT A DOG...
